Alumni Banquet
GENTRY
– Another biennial reunion – the sixth alumni banquet – will be held at the
Gentry High School Cafeteria at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, with doors
opening at 5:30 p.m.
Anyone
who has been associated with the Gentry Public Schools is invited to attend the
banquet.
The
per-person cost will be $20. Reservations should be made by Aug. 1, 2008.
The
alumni association urges alumni to contact classmates, teachers and others
associated with Gentry Schools about the upcoming banquet and help keep mailing
costs down, allowing the scholarship fund to continue to grow.
The
association is encouraging individual classes to plan their reunions around the
evening of Aug. 30, 2008, so that class members may visit with other friends
and acquaintances they may not have seen in several years.
The
Gentry Alumni Association was founded to honor all past Gentry Public School
attendees and graduates by giving scholarships to Gentry High School seniors.
The fund has provided numerous scholarships (using only the interest gained
from the perpetual fund). The fund has grown with each banquet, allowing the
association to increase its scholarship funding each year.

unable to attend the banquet but who wish to donate to the scholarship fund may
